Sperry Top-Sider turned to Monster Media to bring an interactive digital experience to the Weymouth Bayside Festival during the 2012 Olympic Games. The oversized event wall challenged attendees to a game of virtual volleyball through a combination of touch and gestural interaction. Using only their body movement, participants attempted to keep the virtual beach balls airborne by moving around and waving their hands or even kicking up their feet. Participants could also select hotspots that appeared on screen at random for a chance to win Sperry Top-Sider branded prizes. At the end of the game, high scorers added their initials to a virtual leader board and chose a country to represent!
