Monster Media partnered with Aviator, McGarryBowen and Courtyard Marriott to bring to life the new Courtyard Marriott Viking Commercial in a fun, interactive environment. Using prime locations in airports across the country, travelers were encouraged to interact and race against the clock to win! On idle, a call to action asked users to touch to begin. Once the Kinect technology recognized the traveler, a quick avatar would be taken, transforming the person into a Viking. Brief instructions informed users to use their arm movements to row the boat and to try to beat the ghost ship. After gameplay, travelers could enter their phone number to receive their avatar and share their experience on social media channels.
