Monster Media partnered with Lagardere Unlimited and Citi to bring a fun and unique way for Citi Open attendees to win some Citi prizes. A fully branded, interactive vending machine was stocked with Citi goods and to receive one, attendees must tweet or Instagram using the hashtag #CitiOpenPromo. When the user approached the system, they were asked to enter their username to verify they sent a message. Once verified, a prize would vend! A backend moderation portal allowed for Citi to approve certain messages to appear on the system itself, pulling people into the activation.
