As part of Bell’s ongoing commitment to Mental Health Initiatives, Bell hosts the annual Bell Let’s Talk day to encourage Canadians to join the conversation around mental illness. Bell looked to Monster Media to power their social expertise to increase these conversations across out of home channels. We developed a custom application that used the Monster Social Platform to collect all Twitter messages tagged with the designated campaign hashtags. The messages were filtered and then curated by the Bell team to select the most meaningful and powerful messages. The approved Tweets were displayed by our social application in locations across all of Canada. With help from Monster Media, Twitter propelled Bell Let's Talk Day like never before, with #BellLetsTalk as the top Twitter trending term in Canada and ranked third in the world for the day. The 3,016,621 Tweets and Retweets on Bell Let's Talk Day 2014 were 93% more than the previous year.
